NOTES:

• Academic Year program fee does NOT include winter housing since most students return home for the winter break. Students can stay with their host family during winter break at an additional cost of $250 per week. 
• Optional business courses (offered during the Spring semester only) are charged an additional fee of $1,900 (up to 3 business courses).

• $2,000 will be added to the program fee.

NOTE: Students participating in the Study & Work program enroll in courses and internship-preparation workshops during the Spring semester and participate in a two-month internship during the summer.

NOTE: A  fee of 850 euro applies to each Music Instrumental, Vocal, and Drama one-on-one tutorial.

• The Fall semester in Japan ends in late January, while the Spring semester at universities in the USA starts in mid-January. Most students get permission from their home universities to either miss the first weeks of Spring classes and make up the work when they return to campus in late January, or start classes remotely and join in person when they return to campus in late January. 
• The application deadline for Fall Semester and Academic Year programs is  February 20.
• The application deadline for Spring Semester & CalendarYear programs is September 30.

NOTE: The Summer Trimester start date depends on the Spring final exam schedule at the student’s home university/college. Contact KEI for details.

• Program fee includes internship placement and credit, but not courses.
• Spanish language and regional studies courses may be added for an additional fee ($500-$850 per 3-credit course).
• Program dates are flexible and depend on the student’s availability and needs.
• Program fees can be adjusted depending on length of program (example: a 6-week program would cost $4,500).
• KEI Affiliate Grant cannot be applied to the Cuzco Internship program.

NOTE: The KEI program in the UAE is suspended due to unrest in the region. KEI will re-open the program when the safety situation improves.
